On Saturday, September 28th, DLFF scholars and parents volunteered to help remove trash at this freshwater tidal marsh-the Bristol Marsh. This project was for The Heritage Conservancy, a non-profit committed to environmental protection and preservation. The team removed approximately 65 bags of trash, learned about the importance of watershed protection and signed a pledge to reduce their use of single-use plastics.
