In addition to financial support, our scholarship program encourages service to our community. We believe that through community service we are able to discover our passions, develop new skills and encourage a sense of higher purpose. As such, DLFF Pathway Scholars are given opportunities to work with our Foundation on various community service projects.

Elementary students in each of the Pathway schools make greeting cards for their particular community partner – holiday cards, get well cards, words of encouragement – whatever occasion fits the needs of the organization. A DLFF representative picks the cards up from the school and delivers them to the organization.
Pathway Scholars lead a donation drive to fit the needs of their community partner. The scholars Donations are delivered to the community partner by a DLFF representative.
